Title ON 238013, the former surgery at Horsefair Chipping Norton has been redeveloped and to form 7 new properties shown on the title plan. We are close to exchange on number 7 (the south western most of the new properties. On the ground the boundary fence includes a portion of land west of the property and outside the area of ON 238013. Late in the sale process the vendor has revealed that they only have adverse possession of this portion. Is it possible to establish whether the plot was ever registered to another title: i.e. should we be looking at PG4 or PG5?

Iffryn - so they have not registered their claim? If so you need to check if the land is registered and then decide which PG applies. https://www.gov.uk/get-information-about-property-and-land/search-the-index-map

Thanks Adam. I am not sure if the claim has been registered. I will send in a request for a search of the index map
